Thanks to all who turned out this past Saturday for the Vulcan Quarry
trip. We were welcomed by Sue Dudley and her team and they spoiled us
rotten.  We spent a gorgeous morning eating breakfast, enjoying a
southern BBQ catered lunch, playing games and winning great prizes. They
have definitely taken field trips to a new level!  Oh, and we saw birds
too!  Highlights were a very cooperative pileated woodpecker, red-headed
woodpecker and orchard orioles.  The list is below.  Thanks to Sue and
her group for a terrific time. They are a wonderful example of how
industry and nature/wildlife can co-exist.We can't wait until next year!
