Would anyone know anything about the nests near the James that are described below? ----- Original Message ----- From: <bennettthree@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <audubon@xxxxxxxxxxxx>; <audubon@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 18, 2004 3:18 PM > Hello, > > My six year old son and I have been watching two nests near the James River for the past couple of months and are desperately seeking information about the inhabitants. We drive over the Willey Bridge to school each day from Forest Hill heading north towards Parham road. The largest nest is on a power/manmade tower looking over the James on the north side of the river. We're wondering if it could possible be a Bald Eagle nest or more likely that of an osprey. The second nest we have been watching is also on a tower directly after crossing the Willey bridge on the west side of Parham road. The birds here don't appear to be as large. If you have any information about these birds we would be most appreciative to hear from you. Thanks a lot! > > Julie You are subscribed to VA-Richmond-General.
