If you have ever visited the thrush and tanager-laden mulberry tree at 42nd St. in the spring, viewed singing warblers at eye level on the bridge, watched GHOWlets just across the water near Reedy Creek, looked for an ash throated flycatcher at the Floodwall.....well, you get the idea. Now is the time to speak up for a unique treasure and forever protect it from developers. Think of all those places that were once wild and wonderful until the bulldozers came and start writing that letter or email. Remember the deadline is 2/23. Let your voice be heard, whether you live here or spend money when you bird here!
