MG right on schedule at 0702 this morning. There were already birders from Maryland here to observe her pre-sunrise feeding. A fellow from Michigan was here this week and had great looks at her as well.
Right now it is a Red-winged Blackbird explosion in the backyard as well as good numbers of Yellow-rumps. A "mewing" Sapsucker is calling and there is a Brown Creeper and Pine warbler on the back suet. A Thrasher is tearing up the ground foraging for breakfast. The warm days of late have Bluebirds already staking out nest boxes. Daffodils are up about 4 inches and the morning chorus is sounding more and more spring-like.
Enjoy the weekend,
