Along with the 3 pied billed grebes that can be seen early in the mornings,
there were about 10-12 buffleheads downriver from the bridge this afternoon.
I have been looking 1-2 times/day for them for a little while. Usually they
spend the winter. Glad to see them back. Not as glad to see the 2 mute
swans that have been frequenting the same area.
