I posted a movie of the radar of Virginia this morning (2018 August 18).
There is an unusual blue image coming off False Cape of birds expanding into
a circle, splitting into north and south segments over the Atlantic, then
dissipating. I confirmed from Tim Pandajis of WVEC that the echo is birds. I
wonder what kind of bird it is. There must be thousands or even hundreds of
thousands of these birds.
