He was taking "power naps" between slurps at the "C12H22O11" water :-) He speared another over-zealous House Finch that attempted to perch on his feeder. From the photo's you can see Sarge is getting ready to replace some outer primary feathers and is developing some amazing "neck" feathers. I really hope he stays for the whole molt-it should quite a show! A Sarge-aside...the suet this morning had a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Brown Creeper, Yellow-rumped warbler, Eastern Bluebird and Orange-crowned Warbler. JulieK Chester
