[Va-bird] [va-bird] Huntley Meadows - Rusty Blackbirds, Blue-winged Teal, Hermit Thrushes, Ovenbird, Purple Finches

I birded both sides of the park this morning, starting out on the Visitor 
Center side. Usual denizens - highlights on this side were Rusty Blackbirds and 
Blue-winged Teal, and many drake Wood Ducks.

I missed the rails reported by Will McPhail.

On the hike-bike side, the highlights were Ovenbird, six Hermit Thrushes (3 
near the marsh and later three near the maintenance area, which are not on the 
eBird checklist) and ten Purple Finches feeding on Aspen catkins.
