[Va-bird] unidentified sound

Okay..here's one for you.
I can't identify this bird. Only heard it- no visual
It was loud, high up in a mixed forest at about 4,000 ft. elevation. It had the 
quality of a R-B Grosbeak, distinct clear notes that repeated the cadence 
continually.  Not really burry sounding.
the syllables would be like this
"Who do you think you are?", over and over again, withspace between the 
repetitions.
Anyone know, from this rather strange description?
