Has anyone ever seen a Common Grackle bob its tail as it was either perching
or walking around on the ground? I saw two do this yesterday - at least, I
assume they were Grackles. I've never had a good look at either a Brewer's or
Rusty Blackbird to be able to say it wasn't one of those, though one, at least,
seemed rather large and had the massive Grackle beak. The one walking on the
ground was actually bobbing his butt, much like a Waterthrush. I haven't seen
this behavior described anywhere about Brewer's or Rusty Blackbirds, or Common
Grackles. please respond off the list serve. Thanks.
