While deer hunting in Loudoun county the following critters were observed
from my stand over the course of sitting perfectly still for several hours.
sharp shinned hawk chasing a red-bellied woodpecker
coopers hawk
red-tail hawk
flock of bluebirds
flock of cedar waxwings
great blue heron
canada geese
wood ducks
chickadee
carolina wren
downy woodpecker
hairy woodpecker
red-bellied woodpecker
common flicker
yellow-bellied sapsucker
robins
white throated sparrow
song sparrow
juncos
american crows
turkey vultures
cardinals
blue jays
squirrels
ground hogs
red fox
grasshoppers
sulphur butterflies
lots jumping spiders
and of course the perfect Deer.
