While I'm not *yet* quallified to like Mikes Wellies, (4 more credits to go
before I graduate), I've seen a Mourning Warbler and a Connecticut Warbler at
Wakefield Park. Both were seen on 9-13-98 and both were lifers for me. It was
pretty amazing - they were my first and second birds of the morning! Although
I haven't been there in ages, I always had fun at Wakefield. It's a bit of a
migrant trap. Mike - - - please keep us updated at what you see there!
Also, did anyone put a name to Cliff Otto's mystery bird?

I was leaning toward a Hooded Warbler with a really weak hood and no yellow on
the breast or face, but I don't know if such a beast is possible?!?! Anyone?

I should have known better than to post a report on
