Had two sapsuckers in yard on Sept. 29; exact same date as last years.
Another seen in the yard on the 30th and a juvenile last evening on Oct 2.

peculiar looking bird just getting his adult feathers!
Have had a pair of great horned owls in the area since September 4. Hear
them calling almost every evening. First pair heard here in more than 10
years!
