Hey all, late report but on Wed., 12/16, Elisa and I covered Jericho Ditch
south of the parking area and Hudnell Ditch east of Jericho in the Great Dismal
Swamp NWR for the Dismal Swamp CBC. The highlights were 2 White-eyed Vireos,
one singing just behind the bathroom at the Jericho Ditch parking area and one
in with a mixed flock off Hudnell Ditch east of New Ditch that also held 2
Blue-headed Vireos and one Orange-crowned Warbler. In that same area of
Hudnell Ditch we ran across a flock of 14 Pine Siskins, with a few more Siskins
encountered elsewhere in smaller numbers. At least 2 Rusty Blackbirds were
along Jericho Ditch Lane on the way in in the morning. Best,
