Bill Parkin and I spent a couple of hours at Blandy Farm this morning. The
Vesper Sparrows are still along Berry's Ferry Rd. (Rt. 628), just northwest
of Blandy Farm Lane. We had at least 3 perched in a lone tree, along with
several Savannah Sparrow. We also had our FOS Brown Thrashers. Other than
that, a nice mix of birds, but nothing unexpected.
Lake Frederick in nearby Frederick Co. did hold 17 Bonaparte's Gulls and a
Common Loon this morning.
