federal land and it would only be a matter of a year or two before they would
allow that and then I would drop my Christmas Bird Count and Sunday afternoons
is the only time I would go to my favorite birding places during hunting season
They have six days at least allow me to have one

years old and have lived and hunted in ten States since my early childhood on
an Illinois farm. I have also bird watched in those and several additional
States. Of those, only Virginia has prohibited hunting on Sunday. The

The current legislation moving through the Virginia legislature is limited
to private land with landowners written permission as opposed to statewide
