VA Birders,
I spent a couple hours at Thompson WMA this morning starting at the Ted
Lake Trail off Leeds Manor Road. Highlights were Broad-winged Hawk,
Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Great Crested Flycatcher, Red-eyed Vireo,
White-eyed Vireo, Yellow-throated Vireo, Blue-headed Vireo, Blue-winged
Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler, Ovenbird, Scarlet Tanager, Indigo Bunting,
and Purple Finch.
At the Trillium Trail off Freezeland Road, I had Blue-headed Vireo,
Red-eyed Vireo, Cerulean Warbler, American Redstart, Worm-eating
Warbler, Hooded Warbler, Ovenbird, Great Crested Flycatcher, Scarlet
Tanager, and Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
