Saturday morning, a friend and I spent 2.5 hours birding the roads in
the St. Louis/Unison/Bloomfield/Willisville areas of southwestern
Loudoun County. We found
69 species. Thrushes were noticeably absent. A number of local breeding
species were not seen or heard but I assume because they were nest- and
fledgling-attending.
