Hopefully this will illustrate clearly the semi-public access to Shirley
Plantation. Google maps names the "dirt road" as Westbury Farm Road.
If approaching from Route 5 via Shirley Plantation Rd the dirt access road
is to the Upper Shirley Vineyard and Shirley Plantation historic buildings
and gardens. Do not proceed straight ahead past the Shirley Plantation
mansion. Turn left and stay on the dirt road towards Hopewell via Benjamin
Harrison Bridge (Rt. 106/Rt.156)
If entering from 106/Rt. 156 (by way of Benjamin Harrison Bridge) remain on
this dirt road toward Shirley Plantation mansion. Do not make any left or
right turns off this road. At the mansion entrance turn right to exit via
Shirley Plantation Rd. to Rte. 5.
All other roads and fields on the farm property are off limits to the
public.
