This morning the Roanoke Valley Bird Club took a walk in Franklin County to
Waid Park. This is an area along Pigg River. The highlight of the morning
were the number of Snipe (9) that were flushed out of a wet area by our
fearless leader Bill Hunley. We all are sure more Snipe were in the area but
didn't want to disturb all of them.
The following were seen:
Black Vulture
Turkey Vulture
Wood Duck

Red Tailed Hawk
Wild Turkey
