[va-bird] Saturday April 3rd Roanoke Valley Bird Walk Waid Park (Franklin County)

This morning the Roanoke Valley Bird Club took a walk in Franklin County to 
Waid Park.  This is an area along Pigg River.  The highlight of the morning 
were the number of Snipe (9) that were flushed out of a wet area by our 
fearless leader Bill Hunley.  We all are sure more Snipe were in the area but 
didn't want to disturb all of them.

Red Tailed Hawk
Wild Turkey
Killdeer
Common Snipe (9)
Mourning Dove
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Northern  Flicker
Pileated Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Northern Rough-winged Swallow
Carolina Chickadee
Eastern Bluebird
American Robin
Northern Mockingbird
European Starling
Pine Warbler
Black & White Warbler
Rufous-sided Towhee
Song Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
Brown-headed Cowbird
