How does sitting in a warm car watching a Rufous Hummingbird come to a feeder
sound to you? I did just that this afternoon at Green Spring Gardens in
Alexandria. The Hummingbird feeder with the heat lamp at the gazebo is visible
from parking spaces nearby. During the 30 minutes I was there, the bird came to
the feeder twice.
