We stopped at Huntley Meadows Park on April 20.
About 7:20pm we had one Virginia Rail and two Soras out in the open.
A Sora and the Va. Rail were in the open, feeding and only about 10 - 15
feet apart much of the time.
Extraordinary good looks for an extend period.
This type of viewing will be much less likely in a few weeks when the
vegetation gets taller.
The rails were seen to the left of the boardwalk, just past the point where
the right hand loop rejoins the boardwalk to the tower.
