Both VA Rail and Sora were present at Huntley Meadows this eve.
Sherman Suter and I went looking. Sherman heard the VA Rail close to the edge
of the woods that you walk thru before getting to the observation tower.
Unfortunately, I was distracted by the men geese rumbling in the main pond and
was not paying attention.
The Sora started calling on our way out (about 8;30) - along the edge of the
woods east of the boardwalk. Did it's two syllable
"ker-wee" call repeatedly.
