The Prairie Falcon was at the power plant in Alexandria this morning. I
arrived with my friend Bill Murphy, who is visiting from Indiana and wanted
to see the bird. We arrived at about 8:30 and saw the bird within about
five minutes from the west side of the plant. It was flying south of the
power plant and then circled and flew north. We went to the river side of
the plant and saw the bird briefly perched on one of the dark towers before
it disappeared. We watched for it until about 9:10 and then left.
