I watched the Prairie Falcon in Old Town Alexandria this morning from around
sunrise to 0900 from the east side of the
power plant next to the Mt. Vernon Trail. It perched for periods on the
tanks, towers and structure of the power plant
and stooped on prey behind the wooden fence from my view. Towards 0900 it
started mixing-it-up with several Fish
Crows until I saw it last as it flew around the north side of the power
plant. The link below show a pic of the falcon in
