Today was rather miserable, being socked in a heavy fog all day with only about
50 ft. visibility. Right after lunch, though, I noticed more activity than
usual at the feeders, and saw that there were several Pine Siskins. They were
dropping down from the tops of the pine trees (which were hidden in the mist)
in 2's and 3's until I saw at least 12 at the feeder at the same time. As soon
as one left another took its place, so it is impossible to say how many were
here altogether.
