We were graced with another visit by this species this afternoon. What
looked like an all red sparrow or something at one of our feeders turned
out to be a gorgeous male Painted Bunting. so--be on the lookout. Hopefully
there are more around.
Also, still looking for help finding a good location along the Elizabeth
River anywhere for a quick riverscape photo shoot. The photo will wind up
at a Nauticus exhibit in March 2018. Any ideas? I've not received one
response yet. Surely folks who know this area better than this native
Bostonian could recommend a spot. Or perhaps one of you lives along the
river and has a backyard facing same. Would really appreciate the help.
