We went hiking along the Occoquan river starting in Hemlock Overlook Park.
The weather was great and the flowers were at peak bloom. A perfect day to
be outdoors. The birds were fairly quiet. Highlights were the first Northern
Parula's (6), Louisiana Waterthrush (3) and 2 juvenile Barred Owls.
