Tom Mizell and myself opened the banding station for Northern
Saw-whet Owls here in Rockingham County last night. Between
7:30 PM and midnight we caught and banded 7 NSWOs which is
more than I expected considering the seeming slow start to the
migration that has been reported north of us. Hopefully more are on
the way.
