VA Birders,
This morning at around 9:30 this morning I watched two Mississippi Kites glide
over Forrester Blvd near the intersection with Carrleigh Pkwy in West
Springfield. They were flying fairly low and I was able to study them for a
minute or so before they sailed away together. I don't know if these birds are
from Burke, where they are known to be, or if there has been a different
breeding pair in Springfield.
