I had tried several times to find the Mississippi Kites reported near PB Smith
school in Warrenton by Todd Day and others without any luck. Today, while
sitting on the porch celebrating my son's birthday, one flew low over my yard.
I grabbed my binoculars and found there were two adults circling, and
apparently heading back towards PB Smith (which is about 4 miles from my
house). Much better than noisy fireworks scaring my dogs.
