A quick walk through Metz yielded a very vocal King Rail in the easternmost
pod. Also present were Fox Sparrows (5), Swamp Sparrow, Rusty Blackbird,
and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. On Neabsco Creek, there were 9 Greater
Yellowlegs.
