Making their arrival known this morning were my backyard House Wren (same
arrival date as last year; a few days earlier than the previous three) and
the first Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher. Still a constant presence at my feeders
are the two Red-Breasted Nuthatches of the winter. I'm going to miss
them-they're such confiding and cute little critters, and who knows when
they'll be back again. The Brown Creeper twosome who were around most of
the winter have been gone for nearly a month.
