Some 34 birders enjoyed participating in the monthly bird walk at Banshee
Reeks Nature Preserve , with additional stops at the Dulles Wetlands MP and
Beaverdam Reservoir before and after the walks at the Preserve. Highlights
were
250 + Bonaparte's Gull at Beaverdam , Virginia Rails , Sora and Bank Swallow
at Dulles Wetlands , Winter Wrens at Banshee , Marsh Wrens at Dulles , Ruby
-throated Hummingbird ,25 Hermit Thrushes , Yellow , Pine , Palm Warblers and
Louisiana Water Thrush at Banshee. In total 86 species recorded
