The Eastern Shore Birding Festival will be held this year on Oct 4-6.
Pat and Clay Sutton will be the featured speakers. The festival is adding
several new trips and workshops this year, and so we need all the help we can
get in leading them. If you can volunteer for any or all of the days, let me
know. I will then contact you with information on the trips, workshops, etc.
(For the past few years. Free housing has been available for those trip
leaders who needed it. I am assuming that this will still be the case.)

Pat Sutton is the head teacher-naturalist for the Cape May Bird
Observatory. She and Clay have written several books together, and Clay is a
co-author, with David Sibley and Pete Dunne, of HAWKS IN FLIGHT. Pat and Clay
will host a workshop on hawks in flight on Saturday, the 5th.
