With apologies for tardiness I wanted to report seeing two Ravens at
Dulles Airport on Monday of this week. The birds were in seen
overflying the small lake beside the airport access road on Monday
afternoon at about 3pm.
I am not sure if this is a particularly interesting sighting but I note
that subsequent to seeing these birds on Monday there has been a scatter
of records of Ravens in Maryland in the last few days. I guess there is
some sort of movement afoot.
On an unrelated issue, I am off to Chincoteague for the week next week
and note that there are few (no?) recent postings on the VA list serve
from what would seem to be a prime birding locality. Is there another
source for information on that site that I am missing?
