Add this to the reports of late sightings. A Blackburnian Warbler visited
the leaf mister in my yard in Great Falls, VA. this Sunday morning, June 10,
at about 10 AM. The bird, viewed through binoculars from a distance of 35
ft., displayed a prominent yellow supercilium, broad wing bars, white outer
tail
feathers, yellow breast and an orange-yellow throat. It most closely
resembled the illustration of a first fall male Blackburnian in Jon Dunn's
WARBLERS guide.
