Thanks to Dave Boltz, we checked out Lake Frederick this morning. A lot had
come in since his report, but the best duck was the Long-tailed he reported.
Today, the bird was right offshore about 10 yards - amazingly close! List

LONG-TAILED DUCK - 1 Male
COMMON GOLDENEYE - 2 male
Common Merganser - 8 female
Ruddy Duck - 18
Common Loon - 14
Pied-billed Grebe - 2
Great fun in spite of the rain.
