Howdy all,
Well the past few days have been super slow with only a total of 17 birds
banded. But we have had a few bigger days during the past two weeks. On 9/12 we
banded 127and on 9/18 a total of 113 were banded. From 9/12 to 9/21 a total of
422 birds were banded. During that same time span, we banded 19 different
species of warblers! So diversity has been nice although total bird numbers
are a little low still. So far we have not caught any Yellow-rumped Warblers
yet but the next cold front might start bringing them in.
Cheers,
Jethro Runco
