Hola Birders
Today at around 1100am a Magnificent Frigatebird was spotted atop a kettle
of Turkey Vultures cruising south east of highway 13. Zach Smith was quick
to get on the platform and we both agreed with scope-full view to get
pictures. We raced down to the intersection of 600 and 13 by the ESVNWR
visitors center and were able to clip pics of a sweet adult female as she
flew over our heads! She was still with Turkey Vultures when we refound her
but she headed out towards the Bay Bridge.
Also of note were 2 Bank Swallows that flew over the platform today. I
suppose these are Wilma related birds (?).
