Hola Birders,
Today we had Great diversity. (thinky Tony the Tiger when you read "great")
The four species of Buteo's certainly helped our final tally. Yes, we saw yet
another Swainson's Hawk today. An adult light morph flew over the platform
around 10am. The flight feathers were sooty grey-black and the breast was
chestnut contrasting with it's cream colored belly. Our other exciting bird of
the day was a Parasitic Jaeger seen flying over the bay. You know, if your not
doing anything tomorrow you should come and hang out at Kiptopeke. Check out
the 'other bird' sightings after the raptor breakdown. Here's today's
