[va-bird] KENTUCKY WARBLER, ALDER & WILLOW FLYCATCHERS at Pocahontas State Park 5/16/06

A great morning to hike the Beaver Lake Trail.  Highlights included  KENTUCKY 
WARBLER  heard singing from the Trex boardwalk, ALDER and WILLOW  FLYCATCHERS 
both seen and heard near the vegetated wetland just past the  last dock 
(counterclockwise direction).

Notes:      1. Female Scarlet Tanager gathering  nesting material near the 
crossing of Third Branch. 2.  Phoebe nesting  under spillway of dam. 3. Female 
Pileated feeding two young at nest hole in dead  tree at edge of grassy area 
below CCC Museum.
