The two imm. White Ibis originally found on 9/8 continue to use the power
transmission towers which cross the Nansemond River here in northern
Suffolk. While I have NOT checked daily, there have been no dates on which
I DID check that I could not find them. The only behavior change that I
have noticed is that they moved to a different tower on 9/25. Again, these
birds are roosting with the many Double-crested Cormorants on the towers.
They generally do not show up until almost dark and leave just after first
light. Today they left at 6:15am.
