Cool, overcast day with low ceiling and
strong easterly winds produced a few
BWs but not as many as we expected.
Highlight of the day was late afternoon
after a long period of no hawks. Our 11
year old hawkwatcher, Cory Goff, pulled
out his fiddle and amazed us all with several
excellent bluegrass songs, after which our
first (and only) eagle of the day came
soaring by as if in salute. Great job, Cory!
