Observation end   time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 7.75 hours

Official Counter: Scott McConnell

Observers:        Scott McConnell

Visitors:
This space intentionally left blank

Weather:
Low, thick, damp clouds moved in mid-morning and shut down the "flight."

Raptor Observations:
Pair of HY bald eagles fishing from the concrete ships for several hours.
At one point, one was consuming and mantling a fish; the other kept
harrassing it. The harrassed one evetually flipped up and presented
talons; while it was recovering from this maneuver, the other one dropped
down and stole the fish, flew off a little ways and consumed it. This bird
later buzzed by a peregrine, which was hunting pigeons over the ships.

Non-raptor Observations:
Purple finch; brown creeper; r-b and b-h nuthatches; 2 pine siskins;
pipits; 2 monarchs.

Predictions:
Rain
