Today, we held a walk at the private Horspen Run for Loudoun Wildlife
Conservancy (https://loudounwildlife.org) to kick off Celebrate Birds! - a
series of special walks to celebrate International Migratory Bird Day and
the spectacle of Spring migration.

18 birders braved the onset of rain and mosquitos to find 44 species.
Highlights included Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Black-and-white Warblers, many
Prairie Warblers, FOS Yellow-billed Cuckoo and excellent views of a singing
Indigo Bunting.   Breeding was in full swing for several species including
Eastern Bluebirds, Tree Swallows, House Wrens and Robins.

The full eBird checklist is at

Thanks,
Bryan
