Our group of seven birders tallied 33 species this morning. Numbers of ducks
are starting to increase despite the unseasonably warm weather. We had three
eagles this morning - two adults near the nesting tree on Conn Island and a
juvenile earlier. There flocks of mourning doves (two separate flocks of about
thirty each), waxwings and fish crows. Next week is the Christmas Count for
the Park. All birders are welcome to join this group that meets at 8:00am in
