Prairie and Prothonotary warblers are plentiful; also ovenbirds, black and
white, parula, several sightings of Swainson's warblers, along Jericho
lane, Washington ditch and on the Chesapeake canal trail-waterthrush too.
Beautiful hooded, yellow throated, black-throated green and common
yellowthroats, too; redstarts along Railroad ditch. Red headed woodpeckers
seen and heard at Refuge headquarters Guided trip on Jericho May 1st
starting at 7 am.
