Fox Sparrows continue to move through Central Virginia in good numbers.
We had 17 beneath our bird feeders on March 19, and saw 13 there today.
Purple Finches are becoming more consistent in visiting the feeders (have
seen them every day for the past week), but still in low numbers, as they
have been all winter here at our house. For the past few weeks we have
also had about a half-dozen Yellow-rumped Warblers coming to their
favorite peanut butter suet mixture along with one Pine Warbler.
