This morning the finches were very active and very decent (large for the yard)
numbers were seen. At one point I counted 46 American Goldfinches in the trees,
shrubs and feeders and the maximum count for Purple Finch was 13. 10 males and
3 females. House Finches were at their usual level of 4.
A first of year Blue-grey Gnatcatcher was seen as well.
